Daniel Maloba is originally from the DRC, he has been living in South Africa since 2009. He has a background in electrical and electronic engineering with a major in telecommunication from Stellenbosch University (SU). He is a self-taught web developer and an entrepreneur at heart.

He believes that Africa needs an incubation machine that produces world class entrepreneurs, for its development. That’s why he joined the SU LaunchLab.

Daniel joined the SU LaunchLab as the Techpreneurship Centre (TPC) coordinator and facilitator. He was part of the first cohort of the TPC bootcamp programme for Data Science, Machine Learning and Entrepreneurial development. He hopes to equip individuals with industry relevant technical and soft skills through the TPC.
