Front Office Receptionist Role Responsibilities: 

 

  • Provide administrative services to residents 
  • Ensure general tidiness of LaunchLab
  • Assist the LL team with administrative services as required
  • Manage meeting room bookings
  • Report of general office maintenance (lights, leakages, etc.)
  • Create excellent customer interactions
  • Greet, assist and/or direct students, visitors and the general public
  • Answer all incoming calls and handle caller’s inquiries whenever possible
  • Redirect calls as appropriate
  • Take adequate messages when required
  • Welcome and introduce new residents to the LaunchLab

 

Qualifications and Requirements:

 

  • A minimum of Grade 12 level of education with preferable 2-3 years’ experience
  • Fluent in English and Afrikaans, a further national language will be an advantage but not a requirement
  • Excellent administrative and IT skills (including Microsoft Outlook, Word & Excel)
  • Mature, friendly, trustworthy and a confident personality
  • Neat and presentable appearance·
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure, polite, but firm when dealing with difficult or impatient clients
  • Ability to use office equipment such as computers, switchboards, and printers
  • Attention to detail 
  • Good organizational skills
  • Minimum availability from Monday to Friday (08:00 – 16:30)
  • Two References Required
