Vizibiliti Insight wins 1st place at Viva Tech Fintech Conference

Viva Tech is one of the largest technology conferences in the world attracting over 66000 people, over 200 speakers including the CEO of Facebook, Microsoft, IBM, and Uber, and some of the most respected brands in the world including: LMVH, Verizon, and SoftBank Group to name a few.
Last year’s LaunchLab ATTACQ Knowledge Acceleration Programme Winner, Vizibiliti Insight was selected and invited to present at Viva Tech 2018 after being shortlisted from over 110 applications and more than 30 countries, for Verizon’s alternative credit scoring challenge.
“This is a significant milestone for us and a huge honour to have been selected out of a pool of such strong competitors many of whom have received millions of dollars in funding for one of the largest telecommunications companies in the world” said Courtney Bentley CEO of Vizibiliti Insight.
Verizon selected Vizibiliti Insight as the overall winner for the Customer Experience Transformation through Digital challenge which alternative credit scoring formed part of.
Vizibiliti Insight has further been invited to go to Verizon’s New York office to collaborate and work along side some of the top minds in the telecommunications world. Part of the 1st prize award was 5,000 Euros and membership credits to Verizon’s prestigious Innovation Garage offices located all around the United States.
Courtney Bentley further commented saying “Vizibiliti Insight is ecstatic to have the opportunity of opening an office in New York, I am so proud of my team WELL DONE guys!”
Vizibiliti Insight’s alternative scoring solution enables any credit provider to provide credit safely for difficult to analyse customers who otherwise would be turned down for credit.
Vizibiliti is working on specialised credit scoring solutions for South African entrepreneurs often considered too high-risk for banks and other credit providers to lend to.
The aim is to support credit worthiness applications for these businesses and individuals who, although contributing to over 40% of South Africa’s GDP, would be declined without further consideration.
In a live tweet Head of Incubation Manager –  Brandon Paschal congratulates Bentley,”Well done team! Proud to be working with you”
